Getting There

    Starting from the center of Chora, head towards the eastern side of the town. Walk along the main road (Agiou Vasileiou) leading out of Chora. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Ano Mera. As you approach Ano Mera, keep an eye out for the turning that leads to Gyzi Castle on your left. The castle is situated in a hilly area, so be prepared for a slight incline as you make your way up the path to the castle.

    From Chora, walk to the local bus station located near the Mykonos Town Hall. Take the bus heading to Ano Mera. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes and costs approximately €2. Once you arrive in Ano Mera, exit the bus and follow the signs towards Gyzi Castle. It is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the castle, heading towards the hills.

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Chora to Gyzi Castle. You can find taxis at designated taxi stands in Chora.
