    The Ottoman Hamam Baths are located at Platanos 2 in Nafplio. From Syntagma Square, head southeast towards Vasileos Konstantinou street. Continue to Amalias street, turn left, then take the first right onto Platanos street. The Hamam will be on your left.

    If arriving by local bus to Nafplio, exit the station and walk towards the town center. Head southeast towards Syntagma Square, then follow the walking directions to Platanos street.

These historical baths provided a place for purification and socialization, integral to daily life during the Ottoman era. The building features spacious chambers, intricate tile work, and a warm space covered by a hemispherical dome with concentric rings of lighting holes. Water was supplied by the spring of the Holy Monastery in Areia.Although not currently operational as a bathhouse, the site is undergoing restoration to preserve its historical integrity. Visitors can explore the various chambers and learn about the traditional practices associated with the hamam. Guided tours provide insights into the rituals that once took place within these walls, offering a deeper understanding of Nafplio's cultural heritage.
