Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Naxos Town (Chora). Head south on the main road towards Agios Prokopios. Follow the signs for Agios Prokopios, which is approximately a 5 km drive. The route is straightforward, passing through some scenic landscapes. Once you arrive in Agios Prokopios, look for signs directing you to the Laguna di Agios Prokopios. There should be parking available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, you can take the local bus from Naxos Town to Agios Prokopios. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Look for the bus stop near the main square in Naxos Town. The bus will take you directly to Agios Prokopios; the journey typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Agios Prokopios, follow the signs to Laguna di Agios Prokopios, which is within walking distance from the bus stop. The bus fare is usually around €1.50.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Agios Prokopios, you can easily walk to Laguna di Agios Prokopios. From the main street of Agios Prokopios, head towards the beach and follow the path along the shoreline. The lagoon is situated near the beach area, and the walk should take no more than 10-15 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as some parts may be sandy or uneven.
