    If you are at the Venetian Harbour, head east along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach the old town area, which is marked by narrow, winding streets. As you enter the old town, keep an eye out for the entrance to the Fortezza, a large Venetian fortress. Walk past the Fortezza entrance and take the first left onto 25 Martiou Street. Follow this street until you reach the junction with Eleftheriou Venizelou Street. Turn right onto Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, and after a short distance, you will see Kara Musa Pasha Mosque on your left, situated amidst other historical buildings.

    Starting from the Archaeological Museum of Rethymno, exit the museum and head towards the main square (Plateia 1866). From the square, take the street leading towards the old town (Kydonias Street). Continue straight until you reach Tzami Koulourou Street. Turn left onto Tzami Koulourou Street, and follow it until it intersects with Eleftheriou Venizelou Street. Turn right, and you will soon find Kara Musa Pasha Mosque on your right, an impressive historical landmark.
