Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the Old Town at the 'Porta Guora'. Once inside, walk through the narrow streets until you reach the main square, 'Plateia Tessaron Martiron'. From here, follow the signs towards the Fortezza (the Venetian fortress). After visiting the Fortezza, exit the fortress and head uphill towards the 'Kalefatis' street, which will lead you towards the hills. Follow 'Kalefatis' until you reach a fork; take the left path that leads upwards. Keep walking until you reach the point where the road becomes less paved and turns into a hiking trail.
