Walking
If you are starting from the Old Town of Rethymno, head towards the seafront promenade. Walk along the promenade heading east until you reach the end of the beach area. From there, continue straight until you reach the junction with the main road. Turn left onto the main road (EO Chania-Rethymno). Follow this road for about 12 kilometers; you will pass through beautiful landscapes. As you approach Plaka, look for signs indicating the village. Upon entering Plaka, follow the signs to Vamos, and you will find your destination on your right.
