Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Old Town of Rethymno, start by heading towards the coast. Make your way to the main street, Arkadiou Street, which is one of the primary thoroughfares in the town. Walk towards the sea until you reach the waterfront promenade. Once you arrive at the promenade, turn left and continue walking along the seaside path. You will pass by various cafes and shops. Keep walking for approximately 15 minutes, and you will reach Προκυμαία Ρεθύμνου, located at Ari Velouchioti. The promenade offers beautiful views of the sea and the city, making this a pleasant walk.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest bus stop in the city center. Look for the local buses heading towards the beach or the seafront area. Board a bus that stops at the 'Ari Velouchioti' stop. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off at the stop, you will be just a short walk away from Προκυμαία Ρεθύμνου. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will quickly arrive at your destination.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Rethymno. After renting a bike, head towards the coast by following the main roads leading to the seafront. There are dedicated bike lanes along the promenade. Once you reach the waterfront, cycle along the promenade towards the left until you arrive at Προκυμαία Ρεθύμνου. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, and you can enjoy the coastal views along the way.
