Start from the center of Rethymno at the Venetian Harbor. Head east along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. Continue straight onto the main road, Odos Kountourioti, which will lead you out of the city. Stay on this road, walking for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection with Odos Petrou Kountourioti. Turn left onto Odos Petrou Kountourioti and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass a few local shops and cafes. As you approach Πετρές, look for signs directing you toward the tourist attractions in the area. The final destination, Πετρές Ρεθύμνου, will be on your right.

From the central bus station in Rethymno, take a local bus heading towards the village of Πετρές. Buses run approximately every hour. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Πετρές. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Πετρές bus stop, you can easily walk to Πετρές Ρεθύμνου, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
