Root Tree: A Natural Oasis in Rhodes

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the Old Town of Rhodes, head towards the Mandraki Harbour. From the harbour, walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the intersection with Haritos Street. Turn left onto Haritos Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Socratous Street. Turn right onto Socratous Street and follow it until you reach the junction with Eleftherias Square. Cross Eleftherias Square and continue onto Ethnikis Antistaseos Street. Keep walking straight, and you will eventually reach Lindou Street. Turn left onto Lindou Street, and you will find the Root Tree ριζικό δέντρο at Lindou 89.

• Public Transport

  From the city center, walk to the nearest bus station and take a bus heading towards Lindos. Make sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Lindou. Once you get off, walk along Lindou Street until you see the Root Tree ριζικό δέντρο located at Lindou 89.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Old Town and head towards the coastline. Follow the bike paths along the coast, making sure to stick to the designated cycling lanes. Continue until you reach Lindou Street. Turn left onto Lindou Street and cycle until you arrive at the Root Tree ριζικό δέντρο at Lindou 89.
