Getting There

Walking from Fira
Start at the main square of Fira. Head east on the main pedestrian street, passing by shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find a junction. At the junction, turn right onto the road that leads towards the cable car station. Keep walking along the road, and after about 10 minutes, you will see a sign for the Unnamed Road. Turn left onto this road. Walk approximately 1 km, and after you reach a bend, you will spot the Chapel of Saint Athena on your right. Note: The chapel is located about 50 meters from the road, so you may have to walk off the path to catch a glimpse.

Bus from Fira to Imerovigli
Catch a bus from the Fira bus station heading towards Imerovigli. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Imerovigli stop. From there, walk back towards Fira for about 200 meters until you reach the Unnamed Road. Turn left onto the Unnamed Road and walk for approximately 1 km. You will see the Chapel of Saint Athena on your right. The chapel may be 50 meters off the road, so be prepared to walk a little to see it clearly.
