    From the center of Pyrgos, head southeast on Leoforos Athinon towards Kolokotroni. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Epar.Od. Pirgou-Akrotiriou road. Turn left onto Epar.Od. Pirgou-Akrotiriou and continue walking for approximately 4 kilometers. You will pass through some scenic areas and local shops. After about 45 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Black Beach in Akrotiri, which is known for its unique black sand and stunning views.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Pyrgos, walk to the central bus station located on Epar.Od. Pirgou-Akrotiriou. Look for the bus heading towards Akrotiri. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Akrotiri bus stop, walk down to the beach which is a short 5-minute walk. Follow the path leading towards the coastline, and you will soon reach the famous Black Beach.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Pyrgos. Head southeast towards the Epar.Od. Pirgou-Akrotiriou road and follow the same route as the walking directions.
