The starting point of the Fira to Oia walk is near the 'Fira Viewpoint', which is marked by signs indicating the path to Oia. Follow the trail along the edge of the caldera, and you will be treated to stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands. The path is well-marked and takes you through beautiful landscapes and charming villages such as Firostefani and Imerovigli. Continue along this path for about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), which will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace and how often you stop to take photos or enjoy the views. As you approach Oia, you will descend gradually towards the village, and the path will lead you into the heart of Oia, where you can explore the iconic blue-domed churches and vibrant streets.
