Getting There

  • Taxi

    From St. George's, taxis are readily available and can take you directly to Concord Falls. Negotiate the fare beforehand. A one-way trip will cost approximately $30-40 USD and take about 45 minutes, depending on traffic. There is a small parking area near the falls.

  • Public Transport

    From St. George's, take a bus to Grenville. From Grenville, transfer to a smaller bus or taxi heading towards Morne Docteur. Inform the driver you are going to Concord Falls. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop, about a 20-minute walk to the falls. The bus fare from St. George's to Grenville is approximately 2.50 EC. The connecting bus or taxi from Grenville to Concord Falls will cost an additional small fee.

    If you are near Morne Docteur, you can walk to Concord Falls. From the center of Morne Docteur, follow the signs towards Concord Falls. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes and is mostly uphill. Be prepared for a bit of a hike.

Concord Falls is a captivating natural site located in the parish of St. John on Grenada's west coast. The attraction features not just one, but three distinct waterfalls, each offering a unique experience. The most accessible of the three, often simply referred to as Concord Falls, is a picturesque cascade easily reached via a paved road. This makes it a popular choice for visitors of all ages and fitness levels. The waterfall itself is approximately 65 feet tall, with clear, cool water flowing into a refreshing pool below. Visitors can swim in the pool or simply relax and enjoy the surrounding rainforest. For the more adventurous, a hike is required to reach the other two waterfalls, Au Coin and Fontainebleu. The trail to the second waterfall, Au Coin, takes about 45 minutes and passes through a nutmeg plantation. A guide is recommended for this hike. The third waterfall, Fontainebleu, is a bit further off the beaten path, but the trail is still recognizable. Hiking to all three waterfalls requires a morning and packing lunch and refreshments.
