Concord Waterfall: A Triad of Natural Beauty

Concord Waterfall is a must-see natural attraction on Grenada's west coast, near the village of Concord in St. John's parish. Unlike many of the island's other falls, Concord is actually a series of three waterfalls, each offering a unique experience. The most accessible of the three, Concord Falls, is a stunning 65-foot cascade that plunges into a cool, clear pool, perfect for a revitalizing swim. Getting to the waterfall is relatively easy, with a paved road leading almost directly to it. The area surrounding the falls is a verdant rainforest, offering a peaceful and immersive natural experience. Visitors can often find vendors selling local spices, beverages, and crafts, adding to the charm of the location. For the adventurous, the other two waterfalls, Au Coin and Fontainebleu, are accessible via hikes through nutmeg, cocoa, and banana farmlands, offering a true 3-for-1 experience. While the first waterfall is easily reached, the second requires a 45-minute hike through a nutmeg plantation.
