From Hillsborough, the capital of Carriacou, Lumbadive is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head south along the main road towards Tyrrell Bay. The road is mostly flat and offers scenic views of the coastline. Lumbadive is located on the beach in Tyrrell Bay, easily identifiable by its dive shop signage. Cost: Free.
Public Transport
From anywhere on Carriacou, you can take a local minibus to Tyrrell Bay. Minibuses are a common and affordable mode of transport on the island. Ask the driver to drop you off near Lumbadive in Tyrrell Bay. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the dive center on the beach. Cost: EC$3.50 (approximately US$1.30).
Taxi
Taxis are available from the ferry pier or Lauriston Airport. A taxi from the airport to Lumbadive will take approximately 20-30 minutes. The taxi will drop you directly at Lumbadive in Tyrrell Bay. Cost: EC$20-30 (approximately US$7.40-US$11.10).
