Public Transport

To reach Sauteurs Bay via public transportation, find a bus heading to Sauteurs at the nearest bus terminal in Saint Patrick. Buses are usually marked with their destination on the front. The fare is approximately 2-8 EC dollars. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once the bus reaches the Sauteurs terminal, ask the driver to drop you off near Sauteurs Bay. From there, it's a short walk towards the coast, following signs or asking locals for directions.

Taxi

For a more private and direct option, consider taking a taxi. You can easily find taxis in Saint Patrick. Agree on a fare before starting your journey; it should cost around 30-50 EC dollars from central locations in Saint Patrick to Sauteurs Bay. The taxi ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the return fare with the driver if you plan to be picked up later.

Car

If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Saint Patrick, head north on the main road (Grenada's East-West Highway) towards Sauteurs. Continue straight for approximately 10 minutes, passing through the villages of Sauteurs and surrounding areas. Look for signs directing to Sauteurs Bay. Once you reach the center of Sauteurs, turn left onto the coastal road, which will lead you directly to Sauteurs Bay. There is no parking fee, but limited parking may be available near the beach.

In May 1650, to avoid capture by the French, the last remaining Carib natives jumped off a 40m tall cliff to their deaths. This cliff is now known as Carib's Leap.Today, Sauteurs Bay offers an array of activities, including swimming, snorkeling, beach volleyball, and sunbathing. Nature lovers can explore nearby hiking trails that lead to stunning viewpoints. The nearby fishing village of Sauteurs provides an authentic glimpse into local life, where you can witness traditional fishing methods and sample freshly caught seafood.
