The golf course was designed in the early 1990s by the Nelson and Haworth design partnership. In March 2025, Daemyung Sono Group acquired the golf course and rebranded it as SonoFelicità Country Club Guam Mangilao. The 18-hole championship course was designed by Robin Nelson, a famous course architect. He made use of the dynamic terrain and coastal beauty unique to the land of Mangilao, and skillfully took advantage of the strength and direction of the wind and the angle of the light. It is considered one of the best courses Nelson ever designed. The course is known for its seamless blend of beauty and challenge.
