The Spanish later created a road system which followed the coastline from Hagatna, south through Cetti Bay to Umatac. Cetti Bay is listed on both the Guam and National Registers of Historic Places. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 as an archeological site. The surrounding landscape adds to the bay's charm, with lush greenery providing a picturesque backdrop. The area is part of Guam's Territorial Seashore Park, showcasing volcanic rock formations.
