Breathtaking Views at Southern Mountains Lookout

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Tamuning area, start at the Guam Premier Outlets. Head south on Marine Corps Dr (also known as Route 1), walking along the sidewalk. Continue straight for approximately 5.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 4. At this point, you will need to navigate onto Route 4. Continue walking on Route 4 for about 3 miles until you reach the village of Humåtak. Look for signs directing you to Southern Mountains Lookout. The lookout is located a short distance from the main road, approximately a 10-minute walk uphill from the main Route 4 road.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Tamuning, walk to the nearest bus stop on Marine Corps Dr. You can catch the 'Guam Bus' that travels towards the south of the island. Make sure to check the schedule for routes heading to Humåtak. Once you arrive in Humåtak, disembark at the last stop. From there, you will need to walk towards Route 4, which is about a 15-minute walk. After reaching Route 4, continue walking south until you find signs for Southern Mountains Lookout, which is a short uphill walk from the road.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the area around the Guam Premier Outlets. Head south along Marine Corps Dr (Route 1) for about 5.5 miles. At the intersection with Route 4, continue your ride on Route 4 for approximately 3 miles. You will be entering the village of Humåtak. Look for signs indicating Southern Mountains Lookout, and follow the designated roads or paths leading to the lookout, which will involve a short uphill ride.
