    From the central park in Antigua Guatemala, head southeast on 5a Avenida Norte towards 6a Calle Poniente. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 4a Avenida Sur. Turn left onto 4a Avenida Sur and continue walking until you reach the bus terminal, known as 'Terminal de Buses'. Here, look for a bus heading to Amatitlán. The fare is usually very affordable. Once you board the bus, sit back and enjoy the scenic views of the countryside as you travel towards Amatitlán.
