Start from the Central Park (Parque Central) in Antigua Guatemala. Head west on Avenida 1a Norte until you reach the intersection with 6a Calle Poniente. Turn right onto 6a Calle Poniente. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where you'll find the public bus terminal (Terminal de Buses).

At the bus terminal, look for a bus heading towards Chisec. Buses to Chisec are usually marked with a sign on the front displaying 'Chisec' or 'Las Verapaces'. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus goes to the Candelaria area. The bus ride should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. You will enjoy scenic views along the way.
