Getting There

Walking
Start at the Central Park (Parque Central) in Antigua. From the park, head east on Avenida 5a Norte towards Calle del Arco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1a Norte. Turn left on Avenida 1a Norte and walk until you reach Calle de la Recolección. Turn right onto Calle de la Recolección and walk up the hill. Follow the road as it curves to the left, and keep walking until you reach the entrance of the Hill of the Cross Path (Cerro de la Cruz). It should take around 25-30 minutes to walk from the Central Park.

If you are near the Santa Catalina Arch, begin your walk by heading southeast on Calle del Arco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5a Norte. Turn right onto Avenida 5a Norte and walk until you reach Avenida 1a Norte. Turn left and follow the road until you reach Calle de la Recolección. Turn right and walk up the hill to the entrance of the Hill of the Cross Path. This route will take approximately 30-35 minutes.

If you are at the Antigua Guatemala market (Mercado de Antigua), exit the market and head south on Calle de la Independencia. Continue walking until you reach Iglesia de San Francisco. From there, head east on Avenida 4a Norte, then turn right onto Avenida 1a Norte. Walk to Calle de la Recolección and turn left. Follow the road uphill to reach the Hill of the Cross Path. This route should take about 30 minutes.
