Getting There

• Walking

  Start at Parque Central in Antigua. Head east on 5a Avenida Norte until you reach the intersection with 6a Calle Oriente. Turn left onto 6a Calle Oriente and continue until you reach the end of the street. At the end, you will see a path leading to the hills. Follow the path upwards into the hills, where you will eventually reach San Cristóbal El Alto. This walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and the trail is well-marked. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

• Tuk-tuk

  From Parque Central, look for a tuk-tuk stand nearby. You can easily find a driver willing to take you to San Cristóbal El Alto. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand; it should cost around 20-30 quetzales. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and the drivers are familiar with the location. Ask to be dropped off at the entrance to the park.

• Shared shuttle

  At the main shuttle terminal in Antigua, look for shuttles heading towards San Cristóbal El Alto. These shuttles may not run frequently, so check the schedule or ask the staff for assistance. Once you find a shuttle, you will pay a small fare (usually around 10-20 quetzales). The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the shuttle will drop you close to the entrance of San Cristóbal El Alto.
