Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central park in Antigua Guatemala (Parque Central), head southeast on 5a Avenida Norte towards the intersection with 6a Calle Poniente. Turn left onto 6a Calle Poniente and continue for about 4 blocks until you reach 7a Avenida Sur. Here, you will see a sign pointing towards Ciudad Vieja. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Carretera a Ciudad Vieja). Follow this road for approximately 30 minutes on foot, and you will arrive at Ciudad Vieja. Make sure to stay on the pedestrian paths and enjoy the scenery along the way.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    You can take a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Antigua. Simply find a tuk-tuk driver near the central park (Parque Central) or flag one down on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Ciudad Vieja. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The drivers are usually very friendly and will know exactly where to take you.
