Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the town center of Panajachel, near the main dock (Muelle de Panajachel). From the dock, head south on Calle Principal, which is the main street lined with shops and restaurants. Continue walking for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Monte Rey. Turn left onto Calle Monte Rey and follow it. As you walk, you will pass several local shops and cafés. Keep walking straight until you reach the area known as QR2X+38, which is the location of Piedra Del Zope. This area is known for its hiking trails and scenic views.

• Tuk-Tuk

  From the main square in Panajachel, look for a tuk-tuk (a small three-wheeled taxi) waiting nearby. Tell the driver you want to go to Piedra Del Zope, located at QR2X+38. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off close to the entrance of the hiking area. Make sure to confirm if the driver knows the exact location before you get in.

• Bicycle

  If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Panajachel. Start from the town center and head south on Calle Principal. Follow the same route as if you were walking, but stay on your bike. Continue onto Calle Monte Rey and ride until you reach the QR2X+38 area. Be cautious of the traffic and pedestrians as you navigate through the streets.
