From the center of Panajachel, start at the main square (Parque de los Cuentos). Head southwest on Calle Principal towards the lake. Continue straight until you reach Calle de la Paz. Turn left onto Calle de la Paz and follow it until you reach the intersection with Calle de los Arboles. Turn right, and then continue straight until you see the sign for Reserva Natural Atitlán on your right. It is approximately a 30-minute walk.

Tuk-tuks are readily available throughout Panajachel. From the main square, look for a tuk-tuk driver and tell them you want to go to 'Reserva Natural Atitlán' or 'Antigua Finca San Buenaventura'. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Panajachel. Start at the main square and head southwest towards the lake. Continue on Calle de los Arboles, following the road signs towards Reserva Natural Atitlán. The route is mostly flat and takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the reserve.
