Walking
From the central area of Panajachel, head south on Calle Principal towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle de los Arboles. Turn left onto Calle de los Arboles and walk until you reach the main road. Cross the road and continue straight until you see the entrance to Reserva Natural Atitlán on your left. The entrance is located at Antigua Finca San Buenaventura, and it is well marked. The total walk is approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
Tuk-Tuk
Hail a tuk-tuk (a small motorized taxi) from any point in Panajachel. You can tell the driver 'Reserva Natural Atitlán' or 'Antigua Finca San Buenaventura.' The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to ask the driver about the fare before starting your ride.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Panajachel. Start from the central plaza and head south on Calle Principal. Follow the same route as if you were walking, turning onto Calle de los Arboles until you reach the main road. Continue straight until you see the entrance to Reserva Natural Atitlán on your left. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
