Car
If you are driving from Flores, head south on Route 9 for approximately 30 kilometers. Watch for signs pointing towards 'Crater Azul.' Once you reach the turnoff (HMPV+Q2M), follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers. The road can be bumpy, so drive cautiously. Parking is available near the crater.
Public Transportation
From Flores, take a minibus headed to Santa Elena. Once you arrive in Santa Elena, you will need to take a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle that can take you directly to Crater Azul. The taxi ride should cost around 100-150 GTQ ($13-20 USD). Confirm with the driver that they know the location as some may not be familiar with it.
Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider hiking from the nearest town after you arrive via taxi or bus. From the nearest drop-off point, it's about a 3-kilometer hike through the forest to reach Crater Azul. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear and carry sufficient water.
