Walking
From the San Marcos La Laguna dock, head uphill on the main path. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Calle Principal). Turn right onto Calle Principal and walk for about 10-15 minutes until you see signs for Reserva Natural Cerro Tzankujil on your left. Follow the signs to the entrance. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes from the dock.

Public Transport
Most travelers arrive in San Marcos La Laguna by boat (lancha) from other towns on Lake Atitlán. From Panajachel, boats depart regularly from the main dock near Calle Santander. A one-way trip costs approximately Q20-25 and takes about 45 minutes. From San Pedro, the cost is around Q10. Upon arrival at the San Marcos dock, follow the walking directions to reach the reserve.
