For those using public transportation, take a bus from any major town in the Western Highlands (such as Quetzaltenango or San Marcos) heading towards Patulul. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Patulul, you can either walk or take a local tuk-tuk to the reserve, which is approximately 5 km away. Inform the tuk-tuk driver to take you to km 164.2 on Ruta Nacional 11. The fare for the tuk-tuk should be around 20-30 quetzales.
