Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading northwest on Rue des Goddards from the center of Grandes Rocques. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles (approximately 800 meters) until you reach the junction. Turn right onto La Rue du Câtel and continue for another 0.3 miles (about 500 meters). You will see signs for Grandes Rocques Battery directing you to the left. Follow those signs, and after 0.2 miles (approximately 300 meters), you will arrive at the battery. There is parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, catch the local bus route 91 or 92 from the nearest bus stop in Grandes Rocques. The bus will take you towards the west coast. Get off at the stop named 'Grandes Rocques Battery'. From there, it is just a short walk (about 200 meters) down the path to the entrance of the battery. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary throughout the day.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, you can explore the scenic route from anywhere in Grandes Rocques. Simply head towards the coast along the coastal path, which offers beautiful views. Walk towards the northwest passing by the beach. After about 1 mile (approximately 1.6 kilometers), you will reach Grandes Rocques Battery. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven in some parts.
