Boat
To reach Herm from Sark, you will need to take a boat as there are no direct road connections. Head to the Sark Harbour, which is located on the eastern side of Sark. If you are in the village, follow the signs towards the harbour, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main town. Once at the harbour, purchase a ticket for the ferry service to Herm. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes, and you can check the current schedule at the harbour or on the Sark Tourism website. The cost of the ferry is usually around £15 for a return trip.
Walking
After arriving at Herm's harbour, you can explore the island on foot. Herm is small, covering only about 1.5 square miles, so walking is the best way to take in the stunning views. Follow the signs to Shell Beach or Belvoir Bay, both of which are beautiful spots to relax. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven in places.
Use Herm as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
