Walking
From the center of St. Anne, start by heading south towards the beach along the main road, La Rue de la Saline. Continue straight until you reach the shoreline. From there, follow the coastal path westwards along the cliff edge, enjoying the scenic views of the sea. Keep walking until you reach the point where the path narrows and leads towards the Fort Ile de Raz. The fort will be visible ahead. Follow the path that veers slightly inland before leading back toward the fort.
Cycling
If you have a bicycle, start from the town center and cycle south on La Rue de la Saline. Continue on this road until you hit the coastline. Make a left turn onto the coastal path, cycling westward. The path is well-maintained for cycling and offers views of the ocean. As you approach Fort Ile de Raz, merge onto the path that leads directly to it, ensuring you stay on the designated bike paths to avoid any walking areas.
Public Transport (Bus)
From St. Anne, locate the nearest bus stop and board a bus heading towards the direction of Alderney's coastal attractions. Inform the driver that you are going to Fort Ile de Raz. The bus will take you to the closest stop to the fort. Once you alight, follow the signs leading to the fort, which will be a short walk away. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance to ensure timely travel.
