Getting there

Walking

If you are in the central part of Matam, head towards the main road, Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk towards the south until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Révolution. Turn left onto Rue de la Révolution and continue walking until you see a sign for 'Plage Tayaki'. Follow the sign, and you will arrive at Wakanda Beach in approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

Bicycle

For a quicker journey, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Matam. Once you have your bike, head south on Avenue Moussa Tavele, then turn left onto Rue de la Révolution. Follow this street until you see the signs for 'Plage Tayaki'. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes.

Motorcycle Taxi (Bike Taxi)

If you prefer not to walk or bike, you can take a motorcycle taxi (known locally as 'Jakarta'). Hail a motorcycle taxi from your location in Matam and tell the driver you want to go to Wakanda Beach (Cobaya - Plage Tayaki). The fare should be around 5,000 to 10,000 GNF, and the ride will typically take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
