If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Kankan, which is well-connected to major roads in Upper Guinea. Head northeast on the N1 road towards Faranah. After about 100 km, take a left turn onto Route Nationale 2 (RN2) towards the Guinea Highlands. Follow the signs for approximately 30 km, and you will reach the entrance to the Guinea Highlands area. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads may be unpaved and require a sturdy car.
