If you are traveling by car, start from the central part of Berbice River. Head towards the Linden Highway and continue following the signs for St. Cuthbert's Mission. The park is located approximately 30 kilometers from the junction of the Linden Highway. Once you reach St. Cuthbert's Mission, look for signs directing you to Dakama Park. There is no entry fee for the park, but you may want to budget for fuel.

To reach Dakama Park using public transportation, you can take a bus or minibus from Georgetown or any major town towards Linden. Ask the driver to drop you off at St. Cuthbert's Mission. From the drop-off point, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) or hire a local taxi to take you directly to Dakama Park. Be sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver before starting the journey. The bus fare can range from GYD 500 to GYD 1,000 depending on your starting location.
