Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Essequibo Islands-West Demerara, head towards the Demerara Harbour Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue driving on the West Bank of Demerara road until you reach the junction for the East Bank road. Follow the road signs leading to Georgetown. Once in Georgetown, follow the signs to Queen Street. The destination, Seawall, is located at RVG4+6GG, Queen Street, Georgetown. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel for the journey, as fuel stations may not be frequent.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transport, take a minibus heading towards Georgetown from any major town in Essequibo Islands-West Demerara. You should ask the driver to drop you off at the Demerara Harbour Bridge. Once you arrive in Georgetown, you can either take another minibus or a taxi to Queen Street. The fare for the minibus from Essequibo to Georgetown is typically around GYD 300-500, and a taxi ride from Georgetown to Seawall will cost approximately GYD 800-1500.

• Walking

  If you're already in Georgetown and prefer walking, you can walk to Seawall from the central area. Head towards the Atlantic Ocean, and follow the coastline along King Street, which leads directly to Queen Street where Seawall is located.
