Walking
Start from the Lethem Market, located in the center of Lethem. Head south on the main road (Lethem Road) towards the Brazil-Guyana border. Walk for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the airport. Turn left onto the road. Continue walking for another 10-15 minutes until you reach the Guyana Zoo, which will be on your right side.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop near the Lethem Market. Start from the market and cycle south on Lethem Road towards the Brazil-Guyana border. After about 10 minutes, take a left at the intersection towards the airport road. Continue cycling for another 10-15 minutes and you will find the Guyana Zoo on your right.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From Lethem Market, look for a minibus heading towards the airport or the Brazil border. Board the minibus and inform the driver that you want to go to the Guyana Zoo. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to the zoo, and you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.
