The journey may take approximately 1-2 hours depending on road conditions.

Once you arrive at the Kurupukari Crossing, you may need to take a boat across the Essequibo River. Boats are usually available at the crossing. Confirm with local boat operators about the schedule and any fees. The boat ride will take around 15-30 minutes, depending on the current.
