Follow the signs to Mainstay Lake, which is situated just a few kilometers from the village center. Be aware that some sections of the road may be unpaved, so drive carefully.

For those using public transportation, catch a minibus or taxi from Anna Regina heading to Charity. The fare should be around 500 Guyanese dollars. Once you arrive at Charity, look for a taxi or a shared vehicle heading to Mainstay. The fare for this leg of the journey will be approximately 300 to 400 Guyanese dollars. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Mainstay Lake, and they will drop you off near the lake entrance. Be prepared for a short walk if the vehicle cannot take you all the way.
