From Linden, continue on the Linden to Lethem Road for about 40 kilometers until you reach the village of St. Edwards Mission. Look for the signposts directing you to Baracara Falls. Once in St. Edwards Mission, follow local directions to the falls, which are located approximately 5 kilometers from the village center. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as the road to the falls can be unpaved and bumpy.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a minibus or a taxi from Georgetown to Linden. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately GYD 1,500. Once in Linden, find a minibus heading to St. Edwards Mission; this ride will take about 1 hour and cost around GYD 1,000. Upon arrival in St. Edwards Mission, you may need to hire a local taxi or negotiate with a motorcycle taxi to reach Baracara Falls, which is about 5 kilometers away. Expect to pay around GYD 500 to GYD 1,000 for this short ride.
