From the center of Cap-Haïtien, head towards the waterfront on Rue 1. Walk along the boulevard until you reach the intersection with Rue 16. Turn left onto Rue 16 and continue straight. You will pass local shops and eateries along the way. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the main road leading to Labadie. Follow the signs for Labadie Beach, which is known for its beautiful coastline and is a popular spot for tourists.
Tuk-Tuk
Locate a tuk-tuk (motorized rickshaw) near the central market or along the main streets in Cap-Haïtien. Ask the driver to take you to Labadie, specifying Cadras Beach if needed. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the beach area. Ensure you have some Haitian Gourdes to pay for the ride.
Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)
Find a motorcycle taxi (moto) at designated moto taxi stands or along busy streets in Cap-Haïtien. Negotiate the fare to Labadie and mention Cadras Beach. The ride will be quicker than a tuk-tuk, taking about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet and hold on securely during the ride.
