If you are traveling from the center of Centre, head northwest on Route Nationale #1 (RN1) towards Cap-Haïtien. Continue for about 25 km until you reach the intersection with Route 18. Turn right onto Route 18 and follow the road towards Cap-Haïtien. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for Fort Picolet. Keep an eye out for QRM6+396, which is the landmark address for Fort Picolet. The journey will take around 45 minutes depending on traffic.

To reach Fort Picolet using public transportation, locate a Tap Tap (shared taxi) in the central area of Centre. Tell the driver you are heading to Cap-Haïtien.
