Walking

From the center of Gonaïves, start at the main market (Marché de Gonaïves). Head south on Rue des Dattes towards Avenue des Martyrs. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Église. Turn left onto Rue de l'Église and walk until you come to the main road, Rte de Descahos. Turn right onto Rte de Descahos and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. Place Pétion will be on your left, marked by its lively ambiance.

Find a motorcycle taxi (moto) station near the central square or market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Place Pétion on Rte de Descahos. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the central market and cycle south on Rue des Dattes. After reaching Avenue des Martyrs, continue straight until you hit Rue de l'Église.
