From the center of Hinche, head south on Rue de la République towards Rue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the main roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route Nationale #1 (RN1). Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach a small fork. At the fork, take the right path which leads to Route Marchand Dessalines. Keep walking for another 3 kilometers; you will start to notice signs indicating the direction to Saint-Michel-de-l'Atalaye. Continue straight on Route Marchand Dessalines for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a sign for La Source on your left. The approximate distance from the center of Hinche to La Source is about 9 kilometers, so be prepared for a lengthy walk.
