Walking
From the center of Jérémie, head southwest on Rue de la Réunion towards Rue de l'Église. Continue straight until you reach Rue du 18 Novembre. Turn right onto Rue du 18 Novembre and walk towards the main market area. Once you reach the market, ask for directions to the local tap-tap station heading to Duplantin. Board a tap-tap labeled 'Duplantin' and inform the driver of your destination, Pic Macaya National Park. The journey may take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Duplantin, disembark at the nearest point to the park entrance. From here, follow the signs or ask locals for the entrance to Pic Macaya National Park, which is approximately a 20-minute walk away.

If you are comfortable biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jérémie. Start from the center and head towards Rue de la Réunion, then continue to Rue du 18 Novembre. Follow this road until you reach the outskirts of town, where you can find the road leading to Duplantin. It's advisable to use a map or GPS on your phone to navigate. Once you reach Duplantin, look for the signs directing you to Pic Macaya National Park. The ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace.
