Walking
From the central market in Jérémie, head south on Rue de la Liberté toward Rue du 18 Novembre. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Route Nationale No 2. Turn left onto Route Nationale No 2 and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and small eateries along the way. Once you reach the outskirts of Jérémie, continue walking on Route Nationale No 2 for an additional 5 kilometers. The Cayes Botanical Garden will be on your left, marked by a sign at the entrance. The entire walk should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Jérémie. Start at the central market and head south on Rue de la Liberté until you reach Route Nationale No 2. Turn left onto Route Nationale No 2 and cycle for about 6.5 kilometers. You will enjoy the scenic views of the countryside as you pass local villages and farmland. The Cayes Botanical Garden will be on your left side. Riding at a comfortable pace, this journey will take around 30 to 45 minutes.
Motorbike Taxi
Find a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'moto-taxi') at a designated pick-up point in central Jérémie. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cayes Botanical Garden. They will take you directly along Route Nationale No 2. The journey should take about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
