Start from the center of Les Cayes, heading towards the main road (Route Nationale 2). Walk east on Route Nationale 2 until you reach the town of Aquin, which is approximately 15 kilometers away. This will take you about 3 hours on foot. Once you reach Aquin, look for a local bus or a 'tap-tap' (shared taxi) that can take you towards Jacmel. Inform the driver that you want to go to Bassin Bleu. The ride from Aquin to Jacmel will take around 30 to 45 minutes. Once in Jacmel, ask locals for directions to Bassin Bleu, as it is a popular tourist attraction. Follow their guidance to reach the entrance, which is located at the coordinates 6CP6+2R5.
