Getting There

Walking
Start at the central square in Petionville, known as Place Saint-Pierre. From there, head east on Rue Clerveaux for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route de Frères. At this intersection, turn left onto Route de Frères and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You'll begin to see signs leading to Jacmel. Keep an eye out for public transport options or locals who can guide you further.

Public Transport (Tap Tap)
While in Petionville, locate a Tap Tap (a shared taxi) that heads towards Jacmel. You can find these Tap Taps along major roads. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are heading to Jacmel. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Jacmel, ask the driver to drop you off at the main square. From the main square, you can either walk or take another Tap Tap to the entrance of Bassin Bleu.

Walking from Jacmel
After arriving at the main square in Jacmel, head south towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach Rue de la Liberté, then turn left. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you see a sign for Bassin Bleu. The path becomes a bit rugged, so be prepared for some walking on uneven terrain. Follow the signs, and after another 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at Bassin Bleu.
