Start from the center of Pétion-Ville, particularly near the Place Saint-Pierre. Head east on Avenue Christophe until you reach the intersection with Rue Clerveaux. Turn left onto Rue Clerveaux and continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street. You will come to a junction. At this junction, you should see signs indicating the direction to Fort Jacques. Follow the signs and take the path that leads uphill towards Fort Jacques. The route can be steep, so take your time and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding area.

Alternatively, you can start from the Church of the Good Shepherd in Pétion-Ville. From the church, head north on Rue de la Réserve. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Boulevard Jean Paul. Cross the road and look for the signs for Fort Jacques. There will be a pathway leading up the hill. Follow this path, which may have some uneven terrain, and continue walking until you arrive at Fort Jacques. The total distance is about 3 kilometers, so be prepared for a bit of a hike.
